DESCRIPTION DU PROJET

• Modernization of the plant’s electrical installations and preparation for a change in supply voltage by Hydro-Québec. Construction of two new electrical rooms. Installation of transformers and switchgear.
• Modification of the fire protection system, replacement of pumps and installation of a generator.
• Installation of a temporary and two permanent ventilation systems.
• Structural reinforcement. Removal of asbestos and lead paint. Demolition and construction of walls. Roofing work. Construction of concrete slabs. Excavation. Lifting work. Scaffolding work.
• As the plant had to remain operational, the new equipment had to be installed while the old was still in use.
