Installation of new pharmaceutical equipment

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The customer commissioned TEKNEMA to install new equipment and fit out new rooms to increase capacity and accommodate a new customer.

TEKNEMA was to build these new facilities inside a warehouse. The project included :
– Two new clean rooms (new bottling line and new mixing room)
– One washing room
– One new mechanical room including two air handling units, one with a desiccant wheel.

Construction required a new concrete slab with associated drainage services to complete the new layout.


General architectural and structural work – Construction of a new structure within an existing building – Cleanroom fit-out – Mechanical and central heating services (water, drainage, steam, compressed air and heating) – HVAC system – Specialized mechanical services: (CIP, clean compressed air) – Primary and secondary distribution – Lighting, fire alarm, access control services
